Insanity Workout Program – Day 3: Cardio Power & Resistance
Ok, so having completed the first day I figured I knew what was in store. I was psyched and ready to go! Bring on the sweat.
I was definitely still sore from yesterday but less sore than I was before yesterday’s workout. Yesterday’s workout definitely helped clear out some of the soreness but I was pretty stiff going into the warm-up.
Yet again, the warm-up kicks my ass. I told myself that I would go my own pace and just keep moving. I wanted to minimize the breaks to get maximum results. Well apparently I don’t know “my own pace” because I had to take breaks…DURING THE WARM-UP!
This program is intense!
The Cardio Power & Resistance workout was difficult in an extremely different way than yesterday. Instead of my heart rate racing to above 200 causing me to stop, today muscle fatigue was my nemesis. There were points where I thought my legs were going to give out, then I couldn’t lift my arms. I loved it!
Great workout. I will post my meal schedule later. Argh, and I still need to take before photos.
